Agfest 2025, done and dusted!

Agfest is Tasmania’s premier agricultural field day, held annually at Quercus Park in Carrick. Organised by the Rural Youth Organisation of Tasmania, this multi-award-winning event has grown since its inception in 1983 to become one of Australia’s top three agricultural field days, attracting over 60,000 visitors and over 600 exhibitors each year.

The three-day event showcases the latest in farming technology, machinery, livestock management, and rural innovation. Visitors can explore a diverse range of exhibits, including farm equipment, livestock displays, craft pavilions, and gourmet food stalls. Live demonstrations, such as sheep shearing and equestrian events, provide interactive experiences for attendees of all ages.

Prime Perspectives Involvement | Event Photography & Video

Prime Perspectives has played a significant role in documenting and promoting Agfest. Specialising in commercial photography, videography, and aerial drone work. We consider our services instrumental in capturing the dynamic atmosphere of Agfest through compelling visual storytelling.

2025 is the 5th year covering the event. Our outputs include producing official recap videos that highlight the event's key moments, from exhibitor showcases to community interactions. These visual narratives not only serve as promotional material but also preserve the vibrant spirit of Agfest for future audiences. Each year, we also capture event photography throughout for sponsors to use within their marketing material for future branding, alongside capturing key moments from the grand opening and annual ‘gumboot day parade’.

Each year we produce:

  • 50-80 daily processed images for social uploads

  • 45-second - 60-second recap video on the day

  • An overall 2-3 minute recap video

  • Photography of all sponsor sites

  • General ‘Colour’ photography (Approximately 900 images in total from the 3 day event)

Here’s some of our media produced this year:

Russel Redmond has been the ‘unofficial’ Agfest clwon for the past 2 years running, and it’s hilarious to implement his comedic value.

Our daily recap videos reached over 150,000 people, with our media contributing to 900,000 impressions over the weeks event.
